It’s been 4 months since we first sent off our ideas for the design of our first personal geocoin and last night we gave Landsharkz the go ahead to submit the artwork to the mint. Four months may seem like a long time, but keep in mind that we were away for a couple weeks for spring vacation and we also "paused" the project for a month so that the Landsharkz team wouldn’t be dealing with our project while getting ready for and attending the GeoWoodstock VI event in California. We’re very happy with the final version of the design and look forward to having the final product in hand.
As we understand it, the next step is to wait for the artwork to come back from the mint. Once Landsharkz is satisfied that it’s as good as it’s going to get, they’ll share it with us. We really don’t know how long this next step will take…hopefully a lot less than the 4 months it took to get this far! We’ll post updated information as it becomes available.
