Weekend in the Bow Valley

Last weekend, we enjoyed a couple of relaxing days (mostly) in Canmore, with a brief (and unsuccessful) trip into Banff National Park in search of geocaches placed for Snow Days 2013. Just today, the six geocaches were published on geocaching.com, and it’s comforting to see from other DNF (did not find) logs that we aren’t the only ones who’ve had trouble. (NOTE – Banff Lake Louise Tourism confirmed Monday that all caches are in place. We just couldn’t find them!)

Aside from our unsuccessful geocaching outing, highlights from the weekend included a stop at a rest area along the TransCanada Highway (just west of the Banff NP east gate) to photograph Mount Rundle and a photo walk near Three Sisters. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks! I love spending time outside with my camera and whoever I can talk into coming along with their own camera…adds a whole other perspective to things.
