Third Winter Storm in the Past 3 Weeks for Calgary and Area

Steady rain from just after 11 o'clock this morning until just about 4 o'clock this afternoon created at least one basin in our ready-to-plant flower beds.The view from our bedroom window at about 5 o'clock. The snowflakes were as big as potato chips!Ready to leave for taekwondo class about 6 o'clock and with this view from our driveway, Mrs. GeoK was tempted to stay home.Stopped at a STOP sign about a block from the dojang, this quick pic gives some idea of road conditions and the snow accumulation over less than 3 hours.The morning after...sunrise reflects off the freshly-covered peaks of the Canadian Rockies, as seen from our back deck.
