The end of spring break is rapidly approaching. In most circumstances, I’d want to make the most of the few remaining days by getting out and about. But we have a few people at the house doing some long-awaited repairs and replacements. Throw in Mother Nature’s decision to send a little more winter our way and I’ve decided to stick close to (vacation) home today. I finished dusting an hour ago and there’s no point vacuuming until the tradespeople are gone, so it seems the perfect time to share a few more photographs from the past 10 days.
I’ve already detailed some of our outings from Spring Break 2013: winter hiking at Jura Creek and Peyto Lake, our visit to the Canadian Museum of Making (and an afternoon in the blacksmith’s shop), plus a round of disc golf.
We also took advantage of the (mostly) amazing early spring weather to get out for several walks in Canmore. As always, we carried at least one camera. Here are some of the highlights, starting with a quick look at how much snow melted at the nearby ball diamond.
And in addition to two family hikes, we all walked up to the old dam across Three Sisters Creek and the waterfall beyond. Here’s K at the dam…
