We are grateful for time spent outdoors - for the physical and mental benefits of time spent in nature. And after months of preparing every meal at home, a new kitchen appliance is cause to celebrate!
I can think of at least three good reasons Photo Blogging Challenge host PJ went with the Great Outdoors for October's theme. First, chief medical officers keep telling us to head outside for daily exercise (while social distancing, of course). Second, it's a broad theme, which hopefully means more participants. Finally, reading all participating posts will be like a mini vacation with stops around the world!
If you go out in the woods today, and you're on the Rocky Mountain Legacy Trail extension, you will see public art! Check out Canmore's 2020 Art Walk in the Woods before it disappears on April 13th!
New year, new decade(?) and new adventures all come together in this month's installment of the Photo Blogging Challenge. Between New Year's Eve fireworks, checking out the Banff/Lake Louise Snow Days, a visit to Contemporary Calgary's new home, a vacation including new-to-us National and State parks and other activities, there were plenty of photos to choose from.
Making time every day to get out and play is essential to my physical and mental well-being. And while I'm all for hitting epic trails as often as possible, a dose of nearby nature does the trick most days.
