Glencoe and the Highlands: A Week of Guided Hiking in Scotland

On February 5, 2025February 5, 2025 By GeoKsIn United Kingdom1 Comment

Our week of what turned out to be private guided hiking in the Glen Coe region of the Scottish Highlands had us experiencing a "proper bog hike," ascending Schiehallion, visiting Scotland's second highest waterfall and ascending Scotland's Three Sisters, among others. We also enjoyed a private performance from a local harpist and an evening of whisky tasting.

Another "proper" Scottish highland hiking experience, the short trek to An Steall Bàn includes a hike up through a small gorge, the opportunity to cross a three-wire bridge, and a view of the Harry Potter waterfalss.

The second day of our week of guided hiking in the Glencoe region of the Scottish highlands was a "proper bog" hiking experience - one we'll remember for decades to come.
