In this final look back at our expedition cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and Falkland Islands, I consider lessons learned, things I want to keep in mind for future travel and share what I think makes an expedition cruise an actual expedition experience.

Four full days in South Georgia was simply not enough time. We kayaked, hiked, immersed ourselves in Shackleton history and walked among seals and King penguins. An absolutely amazing place.
