I’ve managed to squeeze in three short practice sessions since we attended Mark Unrau’s winter landscape / black & white photography workshop last weekend:
Mount Rundle across Vermillion Lakes
Near Three Sisters, Canmore
Signal Hill, Calgary
Between teachers’s convention and Family Day, we’re at the start of a five day weekend, so I hope the rest of the family finds time to join me in a couple more practice sessions before Tuesday. What are your (photography) plans for the weekend?
Amazing pictures!! The first one is my favorite.
Thank you! I haven’t yet read your recent posts about Elk Island NP, but will make time to read them tomorrow. It’s on my list of National Parks to visit – hopefully in the next year or two.
Got lucky with the way the wind was blowing a mix of clouds / snow at the top of Mount Rundle, plus I had enough detail in the log to up the exposure in the bottom half of the photo using the graduated filter tool in Lightroom 4. Thanks for the encouragement!
The image at the top is striking. Love it!
