Ice Forming on Three Sisters Creek

Another three-day weekend beckoned us west, to unwind in Canmore. After the boys caught up on some homework and we tackled a few jobs around our still “new(ish) to us” vacation digs, we headed outside to explore along Three Sisters Creek. Two weeks ago, there was no snow on the peaks around Canmore but now there’s a cap of snow on all but the lowest mountain tops. Also today, we came across a little waterfall that’s beginning to signs of winter, with interesting ice formations growing beside the still free-flowing drop. We’ll be back out to Canmore in a couple more weeks, so plan to check back on this little waterfall then…

We appreciate comments, questions & suggestions. If we're slow to respond, please be patient. We're probably out adventuring!
