Another Visit to Canmore

We finally made it back out to Canmore a couple of times. It was great to be surrounded by mountains again, after a month in the city. We were surprised to discover less snow on the ground in Canmore than there is in our Calgary neighbourhood. But at elevation, there’s enough snow that it seems all of the ski hills in the area are already open!

Here’s some of the mid-November scenery in Canmore…

Snow along Three Sisters Creek, with a glimpse of Big Sister between the trees

Snow-covered seed pod

Shadows on snow

A sunny spot for a cup of cocoa

Snow-capped Grotto Mountain from the banks of the Bow River

Fire hydrant in a snowy field

Sunrise reflecting off Mount Lady MacDonald
