This time of year, a sentence that begins with "Have a Very Merry..." almost always ends with "Christmas." Whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year, I hope it's been a wonderful time with family, friends, festivities and fun.

Autumn is my favorite time of the year. It's garden harvest time, the deciduous trees put on a colorful show and birds are migrating. What a wonderful time to explore nearby Nature.

It's easy to forget to enjoy life's simple pleasures when you feel overwhelmed. This month's Photo Blogging Challenge theme is a good reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple, good things all around us.
