Whether intentional or accidental, I'm glad this month's photo blogging challenge theme doesn't specify "holiday" season. Why? Because many our magic moments in December related to the winter season, not Christmas. Add in a couple special Christmas memories and narrowing it down to just five photos is hard!
Whether you snap away in the hopes of getting at least one good picture or snap away after envisioning the shot and carefully adjusting the exposure triangle and composition to get the intended result, snapping away is what photographers do!
The Lego theme is an easy one for the GeoKs! We've been adult fans of Lego (AFOLs) ever since Mr. GeoK spotted the pneumatic crane set 8460-1 a in a toy shop window in France in 1995. After carefully breaking down the box to lie flat in his pack and fitting the sealed bags of bricks in among his clothes, Mr. GeoK packed that set around Europe for a few weeks before we flew back to Canada and it was the set that started it all....
Our photo blogging challenge host selected a theme with plenty of scope to begin the new year: inside. Thanks to a few all-day meetings and the fact that my immune system was overwhelmed by a nasty seasonal virus that had me down-and-out for 7 days, I was stuck inside a lot more than usual this month.
All through March I've been imagining possible photographic interpretations of two and thinking to myself that our challenge host/organizer must use some sort of random phrase/word generator to help determine each theme.
