A Cacher’s Christmas Event

We co-organized and attended GC1HX83 A Cacher’s Christmas today. Turn-out was fantastic, with somewhere around 90 people showing up, representing somewhere around 30+ geocaching names. peanutbutterbreadandjam is super organized and a super organizer and so is PrairieSwan, so once we had the kid’s craft activities organized there wasn’t much for us to do but mingle with the other attendees and participate in the many activities.

We managed to trades some of our geocoins (some for other coins and some for $$), bid on a few silent auction items and try some of the tasty food items.

Thanks to everyone in attendance, the Calgary Area Cachers will be delivering 2 large boxes of food and $700 to the Calgary Poppy Fund (for veterans) tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
