According to the calendar, spring equinox is just 4 “sleeps” away. And although I’ve been thinking about gardening for weeks now, it’s clear that Old Man Winter isn’t quite ready to let me start digging in the dirt.
Rather than dwell on what’s not possible, I ventured out in light snow, fog and damp cold with my camera in hand, to record the waning days of the winter of 2012/13…

I’m hoping it’s soon. In the meantime, I’m planning a visit to the conservatory at our city zoo to enjoy a much needed immersion in green!
