With my WordPress plan coming up for renewal, I ran headlong into a change in the terms and conditions that I missed when announced. I was way over the lower included storage limit and needed to figure out how to deal with that - and fast!

Solar at Home – One Year On
One year after installing a solar array on our SW Calgary home, we've achieved 11.6% payback, have been through a warranty replacement of our string inverter, and have learned a lot about microgeneration in Alberta.
Photo Blogging Challenge – Glasses (February 2019)
Most of us use glasses every day. Those blessed with 20/20 vision sport sunglasses and lift drinking glasses. Those who need corrective lenses to experience anything close to 20/20 eyesight have a spending category labelled prescription glasses. For this month's PBC theme, I aimed to take photos of many different kinds of glasses. I didn't get any of magnifying glasses or rose-coloured glasses. Blog Identity Crisis
Thanks to the many topics I've introduced over the years, the very nature of "Out and About with the GeoKs" is confusing. With categories ranging from gardening to book reviews, photography to snowshoeing and Lego to hiking, you could say this blog has an identity crisis! On the other hand, you could argue that variety keeps things interesting. What do you think? Should I keep calm and blog on? Or is it time for a major overhaul?
