Despite the ever-changing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we enjoyed some holly jolly experiences this December: family time, good food, lots of walks and Lego building!
I remember just one other month since the COVID-19 pandemic started that it's been so essential to get out and play, for our physical and emotional wellbeing. So it's a lucky coincidence that October is a great time to get out and play in the Bow Valley and surrounding Canadian Rocky Mountains. It's possible to enjoy summer, fall or winter activities, depending on the day - or sometimes all on the same day!
Staying busy from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has not been difficult. I still can't figure out how so many people are finding big chunks of time to do deep cleaning, sorting and tossing/recycling/donating! 🙂 Between sewing masks, gardening, exercising, cooking/baking, learning and family phone/Zoom calls, our days are rich and full.
September is one of our favourite months to get out and about in Alberta. We absorbed doses of Vitamin N(ature) at a concert in the park, on hiking and biking trails and on our usual active transportation walks to pick up groceries, stop at the library, etc.
